Decorated as a giant greenhouse with many flower clusters, the China Pavilion at the ongoing International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing welcomed its day on June 6.

A series of activities including dancing, singing and opera performances under the theme Splendid China was held at the pavilion.

Hu Chunhua, China's Vice Premier and Chairman of the exhibition's organizing committee, was in attendance.

"We're ready to make joint efforts with the international community to provide clean energy and a green industrial chain to conserve the ecosystem of our homeland," he said.

With more than 110 countries and regions as well as international organizations participating, the expo had entertained 2.06 million visitors from home and abroad by June 10 after opening on April 29. Themed Live Green, Live Better, it will run until October 7.
